{"id":464,"date":"2009-09-30T18:55:33","date_gmt":"2009-09-30T23:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.commerciallawinternational.com\/?p=464"},"modified":"2009-09-30T18:58:14","modified_gmt":"2009-09-30T23:58:14","slug":"leicester-tigers-to-float-debt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commerciallawinternational.com\/?p=464","title":{"rendered":"Leicester Tigers To Float Debt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>By: Ainsley Brown<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes that right, I am\u00a0referring\u00a0to the English Rugby team &#8211; the <a title=\"Tigers\" href=\"http:\/\/www.leicestertigers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leicester Tigers.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sorry but I just had to do this, being a rugby fan and all, I will make any excuse to write on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>The Leicester Tigers, the current <a title=\"Guinness Premiership\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guinnesspremiership.com\/home.php\" target=\"_blank\">Guinness\u00a0Premiership<\/a> &#8211; the <a title=\"RFU\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rfu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">English Rugby Union&#8217;s<\/a> top competition &#8211; it would seem are planning \u00a0to float some of its debt some time next year. The plans are to dual\u00a0list on the <a title=\"Channel Islands Stock Exchange\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cisx.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Channel Islands Stock Exchange<\/a> and either London&#8217;s <a title=\"AIM-London Stock Exchange\" href=\"http:\/\/www.londonstockexchange.com\/companies-and-advisors\/aim\/aim\/aim.htm\" target=\"_blank\">AIM<\/a> or the <a title=\"Plus Market\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plusmarketsgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Plus Market<\/a> the \u00a33m it raised.<\/p>\n<p>Could a full blow stock listing be in the offing?<\/p>\n<p>Well with the club being currently advised by \u00a0the stockbrokers <a title=\"Cenkos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cenkos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cenkos <\/a> on this financing\u00a0maneuver the possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n<p>The money was raised to help pay for \u00a315m, 10,000 seat grand stand in their 24,000 capacity stadium.
