Clyde & Co Set To Open Tripoli Office

By: Ainsley Brown

According to the Financial Times the international law firm Clyde & Co is set to become the first foreign law firm to be granted a licence to operate in Libya in 40 years.

The entry of Clyde & Co to Tripoli will certainly not be the last given Libya’s huge oil and gas potential. Add infrastructure, security, banking and tourism to the mix and Libya for the likes of Clyde & Co and other international law firms is a very important emerging market that cannot be ignored.
